the fair, baby!

we love us some state fair!  I think I may be the one who loves it the most of all though  :)

There were two VERY big reasons we visited the fair this year, both of which I will blog about at a later time.  :)

For now, here some pix of us just having fun at the fair!

This little missy is getting brave..  Last year she wanted nothing to do with Clifford..  This year, she went right up and gave him a big hug and didn't want to let go.  must've been soft!

These two are getting brave, also!  The whole day, they kept talking about wanting to zipline...  We finally got to the zipline area and they still wanted to go.

Sometimes when I come across pictures I never blogged in a timely manner, I do feel bad, but it's also fun to come across these and still share!

I'm thinking these are from early Spring/late Winter..   The fam all met at a bowling alley for supper and bowling.  Fun evening and the food was yummo.

This picture is actually from Easter when we met my side of the family in MN for the weekend..   but thought it was funny so I'm including it  :)  I don't remember if the balls were stuck or if D was just trying to cheat and play without paying  :)  Or maybe he's stuck  :)

harvest

We love harvest time around here...   not so much that we don't get to see "D" a ton, but thankful to bring in a crop (thankful for any crop this year!).  Since the guys started harvesting WAY early this year, there haven't had to be too many late evenings spent in the field since I don't think they've felt too hurried so far.

Here's a typical "take supper to field" for our family.  I love that our guys don't require us to bring them hot meals twice a day (I for sure would if it was asked!)...   But they spend most meals sitting at the table with their families.  (love that!)  But on the days that a meal in the field is needed, we love taking out pizza.  :)

Here are some favs of mine right now

This book is amazing!  I started reading this off and on about 3 weeks ago and funny thing is, this is the  book a "Play&Pray" group I'll be attending next week for the first time picked out to read and discuss.  Love how God works like that!  But seriously, this book is so good!

Jennifer Lopez Jeans from Kohls...  okay, this picture doesn't make these jeans look like anything great, but they are for me.  I have a hard time finding jeans that are small enough for my waist while still fitting through the hip area and these are great.  They are also enough of a skinny jean without being skin tight.

 Soprana Tank from Von Maur...  I have this tank in so many fun and basic colors.  It's just a great, long and light tank that is super for layering.

 Love these shoes from JJill.  They are so incredibly comfy!  I wore them all day while photographing a wedding this summer and my feet felt great at the end of the day!  They are also super cute with jeans!

 Cute sweater/sweatshirt/shirt from Gap.  The elbow patch does it for me!

 Super great Body Scrub from Bath & Body Works..  This is my fav. scent from there also!

Gotta end with food..   Love these.  The Simply Naked flavor is my fav!

Decaf Iced Tea..  Still obsessed and drink it all day long!

(UPDATE:  For some reason, I found a photo of Lipton... I actually only buy Luzianne...   don't ask why, but I think Luzianne tastes the best!!)

Audrey is attending a new dance studio this year and is loving it..   

but I recently found these photos from a dance class last year.

Audrey started taking dance classes with Amber right after she turned 3.  So she was with Dance Spirit for almost 2 years.  This past year was Amber's final year, and Audrey LOVED Amber so it was sad for her to change studios.  She also loved her little friends so it was a tough decision to take her somewhere that she didn't know any girls.  (she has quickly made lots of new friends!)

Week #3 at her new studio has come and gone..  This year, Audrey is in Ballet, Tap and Jazz.  She is also taking a tumbling class right after and is LOVING it!
