Right now is basketball season -- cannot wait until Baseball starts!!!

up until about 4 weeks ago, Cody was a very 'still' sleeper. He just didn't move around much at all. His favorite place to sleep was right in the middle of our bed. He always looked so cozy sleeping in our room.

Now he does laps in his bed on his back and two nights ago started rolling and rolling and rolling all night. Cody rolled over the first time (and only one time) at around 5 months and then didn't roll over again until he was 9 months and now he won't stop.

which means no more napping on our bed :)

Cold Weather favs

It seems the midwest has been hit with a lot of below zero temps this winter and it can definitely take a toll on skin and hair.. it can also take a toll on moods! :) I meant to have these as a Friday Favs installment but missed the boat on Friday.

Sherpa Lined Denim Jacket | I first saw a sherpa-lined jacket from Gap that I liked but hated where the pockets were placed on the jacket so I went on the search for a different brand and found this Eddie Bauer jacket. cute & warm

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion | This is the only lotion we've found that works for every one of us in the family.. from D's "work-hands" that need a strong lotion --- to Cody's soft cheeks. This is also the only lotion we have found that doesn't burn on very dry skin. No more lotion tears in this house!

Healthy Sexy Soy Renewal | I've shared this product before but I am still loving it.. I didn't have to use it so much in the summer but now that static hair weather is here, this keeps the static away! And it smells SO GOOD!

EOS Lip Balm in Sweet Mint | The first time I used this lip balm I hated it! But I stashed it in a drawer and revisited it this fall and for some reason I love it now. I actually have pods stashed in the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, studio, Suburban and in the diaper bag. I always have it with me!

Well and Far Designs Loose-Knit Chunky Scarf | A friend of mine makes these amazing scarves (along with c.u.t.e earrings and lots of other goodies). All proceeds go to helping them bring home their new son or daughter that they are in the process of adopting. It's fun to support an amazing family while sporting some cute accessories, too!

Rose Gold and Silver Mug from Starbucks | I could do a whole blog post on my coffee mugs.. If a mug is white and/or shiny, it usually finds its way into my cabinet. I have a problem and D has called me on it! :) It's hard to beat sipping coffee from a cute mug on a cold day.

Life-Flo Pure Sunflower Oil | For the past year I have been washing my face exclusively with Sunflower Oil and have seen a huge change in my skin.. I may do another separate post on this topic some time. During the winter especially, it feels so good to wash my face at the end of the day and it just drinks in the moisture from the oil.

6 years old

Audrey Mae turned the big 6 in December and requested a unicorn birthday party. And it HAD to be purple! Our friend, Holly, made us yet another delicious and beautiful birthday cake!
