clothesline --- redneck style

What to do when the dryer breaks and hubby needs to get his work clothes dry asap?

He makes a clothesline out of tie straps.

$90 and 15 minutes labor, the dryer repairman gets an ink-pen piece out behind the drum.  Is 15 minutes really worth $90?

Oh well, we got a kick out of the clothesline invention.  :)

levels II IV and V

Another successful year of swimming lessons is behind these kiddos.
Wyatt passed Level V

Audrey passed Level II

All three had private lessons with the best swim instructor ever!
Abbey is an amazing teacher and is so wonderful with the kids!

First up is Wyatt and Landon - the boys took their lessons together again since they are so close in levels.

(and I'm pretty excited because even though Abbey is now graduated, she is planning on coming back next year!  I told her she needs to keep coming back until Cody is through lessons!)

 For Christmas, last December, we all chipped in and purchased a Suite at Principal Park for our dad.  We all (almost all) met together on Wednesday evening and enjoyed a beautiful night of baseball together.  It was so fun!

The Cubbies lost, but we all had so much fun!

baseball '13

Sadly, the baseball/tball season for 2013 is officially over for our household.  I love love love watching them play and am already looking forward to next summer!

Landon played in the 1st/2nd grade league.  He had super hits and fielded great!

Wyatt played in the 3rd/4th grade league.  He mostly pitched and did very well again this year.  He had lots of great hits and great plays while fielding.

Audrey played Tball this year and drew beautiful pictures in the dirt!  Seriously!  :)

She had fun, hit that ball right off the tee and learned to run to 1st first instead of 3rd!  Love her!
