::crazy clothes:: by Audrey

A brand new installment on the family blog...   ::crazy clothes:: by Audrey.
This girlie comes up with the craziest, funniest, most ridiculous outfits and hair-dos.
Today's outfit is fairly tame compared to some..  just stickin' our toes in the crazy waters today..
maybe tomorrow we'll jump into total craziness.  :)

farm protection

we're pretty protected here on the farm by these Power Rangers...

they keep watch 24/7/365

if anyone tries anything, they may get a whippin' by this head of hair

or these smiles just might make a bad guy have a change of heart

when we bought these, the big one fit Wyatt and the little costume fit Landon...  now there's a new batch of super-heroes in our midst  :)

roundup and graduation

I realize this was quite a while ago, but I can't not post these!  :)  [My former English teachers would not appreciate that double negative in the previous sentence]

Landon had a super day at Kindergarten RoundUp for the second year in a row.  We also had him do K-RoundUp last year and we were told that he was ready for Kindergarten, but having a summer birthday, we felt it would be best for him to do PreK and wait one more year.  We are so glad we did because Landon had a super year in PreK and his class he'll be with for Kindergarten next year is full of great kids!

Can you tell he didn't want his picture taken?  :)

I just wanted to hold his hand!!!  :(
He was too busy bookin' it to the door..  He was READY for roundup!

Shortly after Kindergarten RoundUp, they had their PreK graduation.
Maybe it was before...  I just can't remember.  :)

He's pretty excited to be in the big school with Wyatt this coming school year.

What are Audrey and I going to do all day by ourselves???

one of Wyatt's true loves

... is driving the lawn mower...
every.single.day we hear "Can I drive the mower?"  It is seriously a huge love of his..

He never mows..  just drives around looking like he's big stuff.  :)

We actually traded our other mower in for a big ol' zero-turn and he can drive that thing better than me with those handle bars.

So if you drive by and see hundreds of tire tracks going every which way through our big yard, you'll know Wyatt's been out and about.  :)

l.o.v.e this song!

I don't drink... I don't smoke... but I l.o.v.e this song!
I have heard it probably a hundred times and I still crank it up every time it comes on!
Not sure what it is about the song.. his voice, the tune, I'm just not sure, but I do know I love this song!

family day

About a month ago, we took a day and headed to the Phelp's Youth Pavilion in Waterloo.  I saw pictures of this from a friend's blog (Hi Becky!)  :) and we thought it would be cool to take the kids here.  I see it featured often on the news channel we usually watch but never really understood what was in the Youth Pavilion until I saw it on Becky's blog.

The kids really had fun and there were lots of hands-on activities for them to do.

this was a cave they could explore with flashlights

there was an area with a performing stage (which Audrey LOVED)...   you could also write on paper and have it projected on a screen at the back of the stage.   Audrey is holding a puppet from the puppet show area.  :)

one of the boys drew a monster and put it on the projector..  scared the daylights out of Audrey and she ran away..   :)

wearing a kimono in "Japan"

I think Audrey could have spent most of the day here at this dollhouse

giant light-bright

there was even a room where they could do all sorts of crafts to take home

this was Audrey's reaction when we told her it was time to leave...  she didn't want to leave!

after the Phelp's Youth Pavilion, we headed to ColdStone for some icecream!  Fun day!

out to pasture

about two weeks ago, the majority of the cows (who have had calves) and their calves were let out into green pasture.  this is always a fun time on the farm...  it means it's been warm enough for the pastures to grow thick, green grass...  it's always so fun to see them run and run and run once they get out there.

::Ring Around the Rosies::

Collin got to drive the boys back to Grandpa and Grandma's...
