I know I've posted about this before, but now that we have another kiddo who in into 'shaving' with dad, I had to do some new pictures (okay, these were actually taken 8 months ago, but just realized I never posted) ....    While the boys get to 'shave' their faces, Audrey gets to 'shave' her legs.

The boys actually think they're shaving whiskers off.   So cute!

Sugar and 'coon

Last winter, D invested in a coonhound who came with the sweet name of Sugar.  :)  Since then, D and Wyatt have spent many many hours of bonding in the dark sporting 'head'lights and searching for eyes.

This past weekend, they brought home a dozen 'coon from one hunt.  They were super excited and Wyatt was extremely awake for midnight!  The next morning, we went out to document their first successful 'coon hunt.

Wyatt and Landon spend A LOT of time down at the crick..   Sometimes they come back to the house pretty clean but most times they come back covered in mud which is a-okay with me because #1) we live on a farm...   #2)  they're boys and that's what boys are supposed to do...  and #3) this is the reason why we don't own video games, so they actually PLAY..    :)

Last week, they decided to build a dam out of sticks (umm.. really big sticks) and mud.  It was really neat to see what they did.

Wyatt was in charge of the sticks and Landon was in charge of the mud.

after the boys showed us their dam, D took us to the pasture to see a beaver dam.  It's not a huge one, but it was really neat to see up close and the boys LOVED it!
