it was so pretty this morning so I just had to venture out and use my new macro lens!

I heard this song for the first time yesterday as I was driving and loved it so much!  

 It is so true about every marriage and the words just bring a peace and a hope about trials in a marriage.

she has come around

Audrey went from being the baby on both sides of the family to having new cousins on both sides within a couple weeks.  She wasn't liking this turn of events and refused to hold either William or Brooklyn for quite some time.  

Well, Lane and William came over last week and Audrey asked to hold William on her lap..   

yea for her!

William even got a hold of a good amount of hair and she still wanted to keep him.  :)

I hope no one has noticed what a bad blogger I've been lately!  :)  

Life is happening and blogging isn't, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I'll get back into the swing of things one of these days!

Fresh and Bright

Bedroom Redone

I wish I could find a BEFORE picture, but I didn't have luck...   But try to picture mustard yellow walls, with black, ivory and red bedding.  Not relaxing and that wall color was NOT pretty!!!  I did love my old bedding (which I'll keep for future use) but really wanted to change it up to create a relaxing, bright and fresh looking bedroom.  

It turned out exactly how I pictured it in my mind.  I just love going in our room now.  I even find myself spending much more time reading the bible curled up in our fresh decor.  Our new sleep number bed helps cozy things up, too!

I couldn't talk D into replacing his old side table with a new & fresh one to match my new table...  but he did say it was okay to replace his lampshade...  baby steps!

The kids and us love signing "I Love You", so two years ago for Christmas, we found these silver sculptures and now we all have them displayed in our rooms.

The folded hands was a sculpture I made in high school.

the Christmas after Christmas

The week following Christmas, we were able to celebrate with my side of the family.  It was a relaxing day filled with tons of food and fun.

Since Audrey is now 3, this was her Christmas to receive her Bitty Baby from my parents...  After giving Audrey many name suggestions for her baby, she finally decided on Belle.  Actually it's Baby Belle.

Rylie had to try on the fancy skirt she got from us!  :)

Audrey got her super hero cape from Rylie Walker and Brooklyn and LOVES it.  However, I don't remember why she looks so sad in this picture.  :(

Later that afternoon, we all got to Skype with Clint and Becca.

 (Moose and Teddy weren't too interested in us and left right away)
