name calling

Our kiddos are not allowed to call each other names.  No way.  But they are kids and they slip up and name-calling slips off the tongue.  However, when they call each other a name, they owe that sibling 25 cents.  Okay...   we mainly have a problem with Wyatt calling Landon names sometimes and money speaks Wyatt's language and it speaks it l.o.u.d!  This boy does not like to part with his money.

Anyway, onto why I'm writing this post in the first place.

Audrey owes her daddy 50 cents.  

In the last 2 days, she has called him Monkey Head and Barbie Princess. 

Actually Baaawrbie Pwincess.

and our backyard still looks like this!  It has actually melted down about 3 feet in the past two weeks.

I try to make Irish Soda Bread every St. Patrick's Day (but use a different recipe every time).

ooh la la

we painted fingernails for the very first time today...  I was shocked at how still she sat while I painted them and while they dried.  

Soon after getting done, D came home and Audrey was SO excited to show him her pretty fingers.

One evening after the kids were in bed, D and I even sat on the floor playing with them.
