Dukes of Hazzard is a new fav for the boys in our household.

Cody is ready for the mess to be gone, too.  There is still lots to do so it may be awhile but mudding started today which helps make it look so much cleaner.

Cody's word for coloring is "yellowing".    When he comes up to us and says "yellow" we know wants to color.  It's the cutest thing!

And this girl is his favorite "yellowing" partner. 

Day 53

Cody had a terribly runny nose and a cough so we stayed home from church.    The boys spent the morning having a demolition derby.  

Audrey decided she wanted a rodeo instead.  

Day 52

Wyatt was selected for Honor Band playing trumpet.   We are so proud of him and he has come a long way this year in his playing.   He had a good day and even got to go with one of his best friends!  

There were students from over 50 schools.   

Wyatt is on the end in the khaki wranglers and white shirt.

This wonderful person turned twelve today!   We are so thankful he is ours!    Out of every restaurant and pizza place he picked beef burgers at home.   Beef burgers, mac&cheese, corn, peach jello and Oreo cake was his menu.

Hilarious!   The only way Cody would eat his breadstick at Olive Garden was on a stick. And his stick of choice? A crayon! A little melted wax never hurt anyone :-)

Cody and I did a few errands this morning and he fell asleep on the way home and STAYED asleep for another 2 hours when we got home.  He's just so cute!

Day 37 | friday favs

1.  Nature's Wick Vanilla Dolce Candle   I am burning this for the first time today and I can already tell it is one of my top 3 fav vanilla candles.   It's one of those that crackles while it burns.   The vanilla scent isn't a fake super sweet smell, but a warm and natural vanilla scent.

2.  Chapstick Dual Ended Hydration Lock  Just a good, inexpensive lip balm.

3.  The Nesting Place by Myquillyn Smith  Such a wonderful book!   It really digs into making the most of the home you are currently blessed with..   we aren't renters, but this is a wonderful book for those who rent their home and also for those who own.

4.  Mason Bar Company  This company has the neatest mason jars, lids, straws, etc.   My fav is the 24 because it holds a ton of water but still fits into a cup holder.   AND I just saw they make a new colored lid which has a gold hue!

5.  Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain in Honey   I'm pretty sure I've shared this fav before, but it is still a huge favorite of mine.  I use this almost daily and is a perfect punch of color while still being in the neutral family.

6.  Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner  This is a splurge item so I don't let myself use it every day.  If you love the smell of roses, this body conditioner could be a favorite of yours.   When you are just about ready to get out of the shower, smooth this all over, lightly rinse off and you don't even need to use lotion afterwards.  It smells so great and makes skin super soft.

7.  C9 by Champion Leggings  These are my favorite leggings for wearing around the house.
