pedicures

This morning, my mom treated us girls to pedicures and lunch...    This was only my second pedicure ever and I loved it as much as I loved the first!  And how do you like the blue??  :)

I love my feet....  they're my favorite part of my body!  :)

finally

Finally, 5 days after Christmas, the house is spotless!  The last load of laundry is in the dryer, every new toy has found a home and all floors are clear of things...

This year, unfortunately I was really bad about taking pictures at Christmas get-togethers.  But here are some that I did get from Christmas with my Mom's side of the family.  My aunt and uncle had some baby chicks that the kiddos got to play with for a little bit.

Minnie Mouse birthday

Audrey loves Minnie Mouse so it was fitting for her birthday theme to be entirely Minnie.  We usually host our parties in our garage that we heat for the event, but it was around 0 degrees that evening so we opted to have it in the house...  the house was full, but nothing is better than being surrounded by people that we love and having great conversation while celebrating our little sweetheart.

Audrey received a pop-up, Disney princess tent and had fun playing with her great grandpa in it.  Audrey's great grandma was also crawling around in it with her, but I don't have a picture of it...  Hopefully someone got a picture because I would love to have one!!!  *Hint Hint party guests!*

The best card E.V.E.R.

Today I turned 27 years old... Happy Birthday to me!

My family always jokes that my birthday is a national holiday because I love it so much!

This morning, 'D' and the kiddos gave me some great gifts!!!  But the highlight of the morning was opening the card from my husband who knows me OH SO WELL!!!

I'm sitting here at my kitchen counter looking around at all the things I need to get accomplished today..  Hopefully within a few minutes I'll get to all of that stuff, but right now, I'm excited that I am finally getting these pictures posted.  There are more that I'll post another time from the rest of this gorgeous family, but right now I'll share these.

The morning was chilly but the wind was still which made for a quick but fun morning shoot.

still a favorite

About three years ago, the movie Cars became a favorite of the boys.  They have accumulated many Cars brand toys over the past few years and they are still a huge favorite in our house.  The boys  have now gotten Audrey to love playing Cars and she now knows many of the character names.
