Big Buck Hunter

I've probably mentioned it before, but we don't own any video games at our house...   unless Big Buck Hunter counts.  We got the boys this hunting game for Christmas last year and break it out of the closet about once a month (actual hunting with a BB gun is so much more fun!)   :)

family rivalry | Twins vs Cubs

For an early Father's Day present, we got tickets to the Twins/Cubs game in Minneapolis the Sunday before Father's Day.   D has always been a huge Twins fan and our boys have always been huge Cubs fans, thanks to my dad (Grandpa Richard).  

It was such a fun game and we were sitting amongst awesome Twins and Cubs fans who were all super respectful and fun.

To say the boys loved the game is an understatement!  They were very into it the whole time!

Audrey, on the other hand, was a bit more wishy washy about it...    happy and excited one minute, and whining about wanting to go home the next minute.  But I think she enjoyed it.

On the way home, we stopped at The Big Steer for supper and it was super good!  We both feel totally at home at truck stops and the food was awesome!  :)

Sun Tea

slightly addicted..   myself and D

-We have already brewed probably close to 30 gallons of Sun Tea the past 2 months.

-We usually go through a gallon in a day and a half.  

-It has to be Luzianne Decaf Iced Tea.

-We always have 2 gallons ready to go in the fridge.

-It has to be UNSWEETENED!  none of that sweet stuff!  ack!

Landon is all of these things and more..   Always quick with a joke and quicker with a hug.  He loves his blankie and Landon loves to sleep.  He loves to help both outside with Dad and inside with me.  He is loving and kind and the peacemaker between his big brother and little sister.  He will always order chicken and french fries in a restaurant.  Landon loves Cars, tractors, kites, puzzles, his bike, and so much more!

We love this boy so much!

the pink pashmina

this is/was my pink pashmina...   it wasn't cheap...  and it has daily adventures

Almost daily, this pink pashmina is used for everything from a dress, to long hair, to a tent, to a leash, to a castle.  It gets drug around to stores, cuddles with Audrey in bed and soothes baby dolls.

I think it needs to officially be hers..   she loves it so!

Happy Mother's Day

 Well this post is about 2 weeks late, but I really dislike taking pictures off my phone and some of these were on my phone so I procrastinated big time taking them off.  :)  Anyway... 

Mother's Day was super duper!  After Sunday School, we took off for Clear Lake...   D said we could go to lunch anywhere I wanted and GeJos is always at the top of my list!  Especially when we can get outside seating!  The pizza was delicious and the weather was perfect for sitting outside in the sunshine by the lake!
