food, eggs, Skype and family

Easter Dinner was spent at my parent's house with lots of family!  Here are the 6 grandkiddos (but missing Moose and Teddy)..  don't they look thrilled?  :)

then our family sat down to get our portrait :) done

then Grandma got to Skype with Clint..   she was amazed about this technology and so excited for this opportunity to talk to Clint like he was in the same room!  So was I!  :)

Audrey spent a lot of time talking to Clint.

I'm not too sure what Landon was doing, but this picture shows his content nature.

crosses & eggs

Well, I am finally doing an Easter post!  Could you guess it from the title?  Easter mornings are usually very similar to one another.  The kids wake up bright and early ready to gather the eggs the Easter Bunny left behind.  Once they fill their baskets, they get to see what Mom and Dad left for them.  Then we eat a light breakfast and do the Resurrection Eggs that tell the true story of Easter and how Jesus Christ gave us such an awesome gift of salvation!

Then we always head to church for the annual Easter morning brunch.  There were SO MANY people this year that there wasn't room for us to sit (that's a wonderful problem to have!)...  so I ended up piling a plate with pancakes from the kitchen and the kiddos and I ate in the quiet basement of the church while D helped hide hundreds (or thousands) of Easter Eggs for the kiddos to find.

After the brunch and the church service, we usually head to Mom and Dad's for Easter Dinner and another egg hunt.  I'll post those pictures later on.  :)

For now, here are pictures from Easter morning at our house.

more Easter pictures to come!  :)
(I'm trying to play catch-up!)
