29 day challenge | me with 13 things

Day #13:  Me with 13 Things

Well, obviously I'm not in this picture, but there are 13 things!  I love collecting white bowls, pitchers, platters, etc. to use and display in the kitchen.  If you're only seeing 12, the 13th is on the pot rack.

as long as the kitchen cabinets are in a picture, does anyone have experience either staining cabinets darker or painting them?  Any advice or tips would be very helpful!

29 day challenge | sunset

Day #12:  sunset

Here's an "off-the-beaten-path" sunset picture..   This evening Landon and Audrey were chillin' in our room playing on my iPod and the setting sun was streaming in on them.   Looks relaxing!

29 day challenge | something outside

Day #11:  something outside

The day before most of the snow melted, we headed out to our own personal sledding hill in one of our pastures.  The snow was perfect...   there was a slick layer of crust on the top which resulted in Audrey NOT going down by herself because she would have easily ended up in the crick.

Audrey wanted a pink princess sled SO BAD for Christmas...  we couldn't find a princess one, but we did find a pink and she was so excited to finally get to use it.

The next series of pictures I was so excited that I captured!!  It was hilarious!!!!

it looks like Landon walked right on by him, but he was concerned and made sure his Daddy was okay before he continued on up the hill

super fun day!

29 day challenge | childhood memory

Day #10:  Childhood Memory

Barbies..   my childhood consisted of lots and lots of Barbies.
This year for Audrey's birthday, D made her a Barbie house.  I searched and searched online for over 2 weeks looking for the perfect furniture.  Finally one night I was looking on eBay and found furniture that was identical to mine when I was little!  I couldn't believe it!  It was overpriced for 20 year old Barbie furniture that wasn't in super condition, but I HAD TO HAVE IT!
D gave me the go-ahead...  I think because I had tears in my eyes I was so excited to find "my furniture" and maybe he thought I was a little nuts for being so excited.

Mom did end up finding quite a bit of my Barbie items.  This little wooden kitchen piece was made for me by a friend of my parents...  I think I got to draw the cupboards on myself.

and my pink corvette that was in storage for probably 17 years is now cruising around again

I spent hours daily playing with my Barbies and it's so fun to see Audrey love them so much!

By the time I looked at today's theme, the sun had already risen..   But these sunrise pictures from last winter are much prettier than today's sunrise.  :)

29 day challenge | bad habit

Day #8:  bad habit

meet my bad habit...   his name is Sausage Biscuit from McDonalds.  Honestly, I only get one of these once every couple of months, but if there was a McDonalds in my small town, I think I would be getting one every morning.

no cheese, no egg..  just biscuit and sausage...  yum!
this isn't my picture.  I seriously thought about driving to go get one to take a picture of it for the sake of today's theme!  but thanks to google images I saved myself a few hundred calories for the day.  :)
funny story..   when I was pregnant with Audrey, I craved these so much!  I would drop Wyatt off at preschool, then Landon and I would drive the 20ish minutes to the nearest McDonalds.  I would order a sausage biscuit, Landon would get apple 'ippers and then we would drive back home!
