the "zoo"

One of the places we visit when we head to The Barn is the zoo.  It's not a zoo, but that's what the kiddos call it.  It's a conservation area for Clayton County.  Some pretty neat animals make their home here such as a bear, wolf, deer, owls, bald eagle, cougar, bobcat, fox, coyote, etc.  The kids (and adults) always enjoy walking through the exhibits under a canopy of evergreens.

This year, Audrey's favorite was the owl.   She kept going back over and over to watch it watch her.

'D' drooled of this buck..  :)

Here's Audrey heading back to the owl.

Right next to the "zoo", a replica of the historic town of Osborne is set up.  Complete with a train, general store, school house, home, etc.  The train is always the boys' favorite part.

more weekend pictures to come!  :)
