dance 2013

Audrey had a good year of dance and learned a lot throughout the '12-'13 year.  During the actual recital, Audrey looked a little behind in the dances..   Afterwards, this is how the conversation went:

Daddy:  "Audrey, you did a great job!"

Audrey:  "No I didn't"

Daddy:  "Why do you say that?"

Audrey:  "Because I was dancing in slow motion"

Daddy:  "Why were you doing that?"

Audrey:  "Because I wanted to!"

birthday bowling

Bowling was what Landon wanted to do for his birthday so we hit the lanes

Landon and I didn't do too well, but was still fun!  :)

Our Landon is now 8 years old!

He picked the traditional birthday breakfast of donuts and chocolate milk  :)

After a quick little rain shower, the weather was beautiful the rest of the evening --- here are Audrey and Will playing at the water pump..  They were both soaked by the time the party ended.

We are so blessed to have so many people in our lives who love us so much!  We were even missing quite a few who normally come to parties.

Happy Birthday, Sweet Landon!  

You have a heart of gold and a spirit of caring for others.  Your dad and I pray you always have those awesome qualities!  Love you oodles, Buddy!

A girl and her baby brother

Wowzers does this girlie love her baby brother!!

While pregnant, she was pretty much in denial that there was going to be a baby and was not thrilled with the idea...  Now -- this girlie is so in love with him and does not let him out of her sight.  

She is c.o.n.s.t.a.n.t.l.y kissing, hugging, smelling, petting and loving on him!

She is continually asking "Is Cody doing fine?"

Has to leave the room during diaper changes!

Audrey is the best big sister this sweet baby could ever hope for!
